Minor Requirements

A minor in Chinese consists of a minimum of five courses, as described below.

Language Courses

• Four language courses, numbered CHIN 201 - Intermediate Chinese I or above.

Chinese Literature or Culture Course

• One Chinese literature or culture course offered by the department. 

Alternate Minor Path

The Chinese minor requirements can also be fulfilled by completing the China study group and its prerequisites, as long as the study group language course is taken at the 300 level.
